1. Go to itrustcapital.com and click Open Account.

2. Click Create Account and type in your information.

3. After reviewing our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, check the corresponding box and click Create Account.

4. Click Verify Your Account in the email you received from info@itrustcapital.com.

5. Login and Set up your 2-Factor Authentication.

6. Click Verify Now and type in any requested information.

7. Select the type of your IRA Account and your initial funding method.

8. Type in the necessary information and click Submit.

To add funds to your iTrustCapital account:

1. Log into your iTrustCapital dashboard.

2. Once in your dashboard, you will go to your relevant IRA and click the "Add Funds" button.

3. There are three ways to fund your account - a transfer from other IRAs, a rollover from previous employer plans, or a cash contribution.

4. If you initiated a Cash Contribution, your funding instructions will be located under the “My Account” tab. There, you will find the “Funding Instructions” section, where you will find your unique account information. If you initiated a Transfer or Rollover, we will email you the appropriate funding instructions once the process is initiated.

**We are not able to fund these accounts with crypto unless they are coming In-Kind from another Crypto IRA.

How To Self-Trade

1. Once you have confirmed there are funds available, click on "Assets" to view a list of available selections. Click an individual asset to see additional details for it. From here, you can click "Buy/Sell" to self-trade within your Crypto IRA on the iTrustCapital platform.

2. To buy an asset: select the "Buy" tab and enter the dollar amount that you would like to purchase. The green button across the bottom of the form will allow you to preview the self-trade information one last time before selecting "Confirm".

3. To sell an asset: select the "Sell" tab and a sell order will pop up. You can now enter the amount that you would like to sell. The green button across the bottom of the form will allow you to preview the self-trade information one last time before selecting "Confirm".

4. Self-trades clear in about 45 seconds, and settle in about 2 minutes, so you will be able to see your self-trades clear in real-time.

*Before making a self-trade, you will want to make sure you have sufficient funds in your account.

New Accounts:

There are three Steps to complete an IRA Transfer:

1) Finish an application on our website for an IRA to IRA Transfer via the "Open Account" button on the top right.

2) Please complete the required information and add your digital signature. Once submitted, you'll see the IRA Transfer as a pending inflow on your account dashboard in the "History" section under "Inflows and Outflows."

3) Once we process the form, we'll let you know via email when to follow up with your current provider to ensure they are proceeding with the fund movement over to your account here.

Q: Can I send my crypto deposits to the same wallet address in the future?

A: NO. Each wallet address can only be used for one deposit request. If you want to send another deposit in the future, you must request a new PCA crypto deposit from your dashboard to generate a new wallet address. This will ensure your deposit is credited correctly and help prevent any potential losses or delays.

Q: How long does it take for my crypto deposit to be available in my PCA?

A: Crypto deposits are typically available in your PCA within one hour after the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain. In some cases, delays may occur due to network congestion, the type of asset being sent, and whether the correct wallet address was used.

Q: What if I don’t have $1,000 worth of crypto to fund my account?

A: Each crypto deposit must be at least $1,000 in value per asset. Please ensure your deposit meets or exceeds the $1,000 requirement before sending.

Q: My account is already funded. Do I still need to send $1,000 with each crypto deposit?

A: Yes, each new crypto deposit must meet the $1,000 minimum requirement, regardless of your current PCA balance. This applies per asset, per deposit.

Q: Can I reuse the same wallet address to send crypto from multiple accounts or exchanges?

A: No. Each wallet address can only be used for one deposit request. If you want to send another deposit in the future, you must request a new PCA crypto deposit from your dashboard to generate a new wallet address. This will ensure your deposit is credited correctly and help prevent any potential losses or delays.

Q: Is a memo or tag required when sending assets?

A: If your instructions contain both a wallet address and a memo/tag, then YES, it is crucial that you utilize BOTH when sending assets. Omitting or entering an incorrect memo/tag can delay or prevent your deposit from being credited. Not all blockchains require a memo/tag, so if you do not have one in your instructions, then it is not necessary. Review your instructions (provided on the dashboard) carefully, and let us know if you have any questions.

Q: How much crypto can I send as a microtest?

A: A typical microtest deposit ranges from $5 to $15 in value. Sending a microtest is optional; you may elect to skip this step when requesting a crypto deposit from the dashboard. However, microtests can help verify the deposit process before sending the full amount.

Q: Do I need to send a microtest first? What happens if I don’t?

A: Sending a microtest is optional. If you choose not to send a microtest, you can proceed directly with your full deposit of $1,000 or more in asset value. Skipping the microtest may carry a higher risk of errors or delays if there are issues with the input of wallet addresses or the memo/tag. iTrustCapital recommends sending a microdeposit prior to the full deposit amount.

Q: Can I send crypto from my PCA to a wallet or exchange?

A: NO. Crypto cannot be sent out from your PCA to external wallets or exchanges using our closed-loop platform. Your PCA is designed to receive and hold crypto deposits, with USD-only withdrawals currently permitted for security reasons.  

Q: Which crypto assets can I send to fund my PCA?

A: BTC, XRP, SOL, ETH, XLM, ADA, HBAR, SUI, and LINK are currently available to deposit.

Q: I want to send more crypto to my PCA. Do I need to request a new deposit each time?

A: Yes. Each time you want to send additional crypto to your PCA, you must request a new deposit from your dashboard. This generates a new wallet address, helping prevent delays for the deposit.

Q: Can I send my crypto back to the account/ wallet it came from?

A: NO. You cannot send crypto back to the original wallet or account from which the deposit was sent. Withdrawals from your PCA must be made in USD and transferred to a bank account under your name.

Q: Why is my crypto deposit taking so long? Shouldn’t it be immediate?

A: Crypto deposits are not immediate because they require confirmation on the blockchain, which can take time depending on network congestion and the asset being sent. Additionally, deposits may be delayed if the memo/tag is missing or incorrect, or if a manual review is required. Please allow up to a few hours for the deposit to appear in your PCA. If you are still not seeing the crypto deposit posted in your PCA within a few hours, please contact our team.

Q: Can I sell my crypto for USD within my PCA as soon as it is available?

A: Yes, once your crypto deposit is confirmed and available in your PCA, you can sell it for USD immediately within the platform.

Q: Can I now deposit crypto into my IRA?

A: NO. The IRS only permits a new contribution into an IRA to be in USD. As a result, we cannot fund an IRA with crypto from an exchange or a wallet.

Q: What is the difference between a Premium Custody Account and an account on an Exchange?

Premium Custody Account (PCA) offers a secure, user-friendly way to buy, sell, and store crypto 24/7 outside of a retirement account, without the risks associated with self-custody or reliance on centralized exchanges. Unlike traditional crypto exchanges, where assets can be moved to external wallets by users or exploited through unauthorized access, PCA operates within a closed-loop system. USD and eligible crypto can be deposited into a PCA, but withdrawals are permitted in USD to a U.S. bank account on file. By design, crypto withdrawals from PCA accounts to external wallets are not permitted; this helps mitigate the leading cause of asset loss and fraud from bad actors. Additionally, clients' USD are secured by third-party, US-based custodians, and crypto assets are secured by third-party institutional storage providers.

Q: What are Stablecoins?

Q: What is USDC?

A: USD Coin (USDC) is a digital asset, otherwise known as a stablecoin, designed to maintain a stable value equal to one U.S. dollar. It’s widely used across crypto blockchains (i.e; Ethereum and Solana) as a “digital dollar” for transferring, storing, and moving value across blockchains.

Q: Is USDC the same as holding U.S. dollars?

**Please note once your distribution process begins, the funds you requested for distribution will no longer be available for trading. This ensures you cannot transact with assets that are marked for withdrawal.

What is the difference between a distribution and a transfer out?

A distribution is a withdrawal of funds from your IRA directly to your bank account or personal crypto wallets. These must be initiated by you and require a verification call before proceeding with the withdrawal. 

A transfer-out is a withdrawal of assets directly to another valid IRA custodian. The new custodian must provide a signed transfer form with funding instructions from its platform.

Are there fees associated with taking a distribution?

Distributions sent via ACH (electronic debit) do not include any fees. If you choose to receive your funds by wire transfer, a $15 fee will apply. For a transfer out, there is a $15 wire transfer fee.

Why is my distribution taking so long?

Generally, distributions take 7-14 business days from the day of the DocuSign signing. This timeline accounts for any internal authorizations and/or approvals before moving your assets. We take pride in our services, and these security measures are put in place to avoid any misappropriation of assets. 

I keep getting emails and notifications about a withdrawal of funds, but I have not initiated anything - please help.

What is an "In-Kind Distribution"?

Many clients choose to take distributions in USD. We also permit clients to take their assets In-Kind to their digital wallets. This means you can take possession of the assets you have invested with us in the same form or "In-Kind".

Can I have the physical bars/coins sent to me instead?

Yes, please specify this when you request your distribution. Then, you can contact Kitco directly once your precious metals have been transferred to arrange for physical delivery. Please visit Kitco's FAQ page for additional questions. Kitco charges retail clients a $100.00 annual fee for VaultChain accounts. VaultChain will reimburse this fee if you take physical delivery of their metals within 30 days (Kitco's terms and conditions will apply). 

Do I need to withhold Federal taxes? 

You do have the option to withhold Federal taxes on all distributions made in USD. If you would like to withhold taxes, please select the exact percentage when completing the distribution form. We currently do not withhold any taxes on In-Kind distributions.

What is the “Conditional Transaction” feature in my iTrustCapital account?

iTrustCapital’s Conditional Transaction feature allows clients to set parameters to automatically execute transactions when an asset reaches a specified price rather than manually entering a transaction as a market order - allowing clients to execute transactions when they are away from their devices. While it is a convenient option we offer on our platform, please keep in mind that conditional transactions execute as market orders, not limit orders. Conditional Transactions do not guarantee an execution price.

Conditional Transactions execute as market orders when a specified asset reaches the conditional price set by the client. iTrustCapital’s proprietary software monitors the asset price, and when the conditional price is detected, notifies the liquidity provider to execute a market order. Our liquidity providers execute and fulfill the transaction(s) at the best possible price, as market conditions allow in real-time.

How are Conditional Transactions Utilized When Transacting? 

Conditional Transactions allow clients to set price conditions above or below current market prices under which a market order will be executed to enter/exit positions automatically if an asset reaches a desired market value. 

Are Conditional Transactions Limit Orders?

Please keep in mind that Conditional Transactions are not Limit Orders. Limit orders guarantee an execution price, whereas our Conditional Transactions execute a market order when your trigger price is satisfied by our liquidity providers. As a reminder, conditional Transactions do not guarantee an execution price.

Being IRA providers, neither we nor our Custodian, Fortis Bank, are exchanges. We source liquidity from outside providers via market orders. Market orders lead to varied prices based on demand and volatility at the time of execution. 

Every liquidity provider will have a different bid-ask spread. We are currently exploring even further liquidity options to maintain competitive pricing for clients, in addition to new order types, such as Limit Orders. 

Example of a Conditional Transaction Compared to Limit Orders:

Buy - Let’s imagine the current price of Bitcoin is $42,000 and you submit a conditional transaction to purchase up to $1,000 of Bitcoin at a conditional price of $40,000. If Bitcoin drops to $40,000 or lower, your conditional transaction will trigger the submission of a market order to purchase up to $1,000 of Bitcoin depending on your available USD balance. Please note that market orders are subject to market volatility and your conditional price is a trigger for a market order and is not a guaranteed execution price. As a result, the execution price will most likely not be $40,000, but rather something like $40,100. 

Sell - Let’s imagine the current price of Bitcoin is $40,000 and you submit a conditional transaction to sell up to 1 Bitcoin at a conditional price of $42,000. If Bitcoin rises to $42,000 or higher, your conditional transaction will trigger the submission of a market order to sell up to 1 Bitcoin depending on your available BTC balance. Please note that market orders are subject to market volatility and your conditional price is a trigger for a market order and is not a guaranteed execution price. As a result, the execution price will most likely not be $42,000, but rather something like $41,900. 

How long will it take for my Conditional Transaction to Execute and Settle? 

Conditional Transactions execute when the asset reaches the conditional price or higher/lower, depending on parameters chosen by the client, as outlined later in this FAQ. Once successfully executed, the market order will be settled in seconds and the Conditional Transaction will be fulfilled. The execution price/amount may vary with market volatility. Clients are not permitted to enter the current market price of an asset for the conditional price as this would result in immediate execution.  

If an attempt to fulfill a Conditional Transaction fails, iTrustCapital will continue to monitor market conditions and a market order will be resubmitted if the conditional price conditions continue to be met. This process will repeat until a market order is successfully executed to fulfill the Conditional Transaction or the transaction is canceled by the client - whichever comes first.  

There will be no changes to a client’s portfolio holdings until the Conditional Transaction is successfully executed. 

Will my Conditional Transaction be impacted by whether my "Conditional Price” is above or below the current market price? 

Yes. When setting up a Conditional Transaction, clients can enter target values above or below the current prevailing market price for an asset, known as the "Conditional Price”. 

• If a client enters a Conditional Price lower than the prevailing market price, a market order will be executed when the asset price dips down to the conditional price or lower
• If a client enters a conditional price higher than the prevailing market price, a market order will be executed when the asset price reaches the conditional price or higher

Once the conditional price is reached, the order will immediately execute as a market order, such that the executed price may be higher or lower than the conditional price. Reaching the conditional price triggers the execution of the transaction as a market order.

Why does it say, "Purchase Up To Amount (USD)" and "Sell Up To Amount (Tokens)" on the Conditional Transaction preview screen? 

The Conditional Transaction feature allows clients to input up to how much they would like to buy (denominated in USD) or sell (denominated in tokens). This allows iTrustCapital to tell the liquidity provider to execute a market order on the client’s behalf utilizing available funds (USD or tokens) from their remaining balance if they do not have sufficient funds to cover the amounts they specified in the "Conditional Price" and "Up To Amounts".

Will I be able to cancel a "Conditional Transaction" after I enter it? 

Yes. Clients can cancel their Conditional Transactions prior to execution from the history section by selecting the trash icon on desktop or swiping left on an open transaction in the mobile app and selecting the trash icon.  

Please note that clients cannot alter an open transaction. If changes are needed, clients will need to cancel the current transaction and enter a new one.  

Conditional Transactions will remain open until a market order is successfully executed to fulfill the transaction or the transaction is canceled by the client - whichever comes first.

A: No. Each wallet address can only be used for one deposit request. If you want to send another deposit in the future, you must request a new PCA crypto deposit from your dashboard to generate a new wallet address. Q: Is a memo or tag required when sending assets?

A: If your instructions contain both a wallet address and a memo/tag, then YES, it is crucial that you utilize BOTH when sending assets. Omitting or entering an incorrect memo/tag can delay or prevent your deposit from being credited. Not all blockchains require a memo/tag, so if you do not have one in your instructions, then it is not necessary. Review your instructions (provided on the dashboard) carefully, and let us know if you have any questions.

Q: How much crypto can I send as a microtest?

A: A typical microtest deposit ranges from $5 to $15 in value. Sending a microtest is optional; you may elect to skip this step when requesting a crypto deposit from the dashboard. However, microtests can help verify the deposit process before sending the full amount.

Q: Do I need to send a microtest first? What happens if I don’t?

A: Sending a microtest is optional. If you choose not to send a microtest, you can proceed directly with your full deposit of $1,000 or more in asset value. Q: Can I sell my crypto for USD within my PCA as soon as it is available?

A: Yes, once your crypto deposit is confirmed and available in your PCA, you can sell it for USD immediately within the platform.

Q: Can I now deposit crypto into my IRA?

A: NO. The IRS only permits a new contribution into an IRA to be in USD. As a result, we cannot fund an IRA with crypto from an exchange or a wallet.
