What is the Premium Custody Account (PCA)?
iTrustCapital Premium Custody Accounts give retail users access to crypto solutions that are typically only available to institutional investors.
This comes with heightened security and cold storage, among other benefits. Assets are held 1:1 off-balance-sheet within our secure, closed-loop system, which prevents assets from being drained. This is not the case with mainstream exchanges that use hot wallets. You also have access to iTrustCapital’s award-winning US-based customer service team. All these benefits come with zero monthly or yearly account fees.
What assets can I deposit into my PCA?
Currently, BTC, XRP, SOL, ETH, XLM, ADA, HBAR, SUI, LINK, and USDC are available to deposit.
The PCA does have funding minimums:
- New Accounts: >$1,000 in value per asset.
- Existing Accounts: >$500 in value per asset.
Setting Up Your Crypto Deposit
1.) Log in to your iTrustCapital account and select "Deposit" for your PCA account, then select "Crypto Deposit".
Please read and acknowledge the necessary disclaimers.
2.) Select the asset you wish to deposit, and fill out the rest of the necessary information.
Please elect whether or not you will be sending a micro-deposit. iTrustCapital strongly recommends that you send a micro test transaction to the destination wallet provided before sending the entire amount as a way to ensure all digital assets are transferred to the correct wallet address.
Please note that if you are sending USDC, you can do so over the ETH or SOL network. You will need to have ETH or SOL in the exchange or wallet you are sending from to cover network gas fees.
3.) After filling in the information and reading the acknowledgements, you will be presented with one final disclaimer before your deposit instructions are generated.
You will be able to use the buttons to the right of your deposit address and memo/tag (if required) that will automatically copy the address and memo.
These instructions MUST be followed exactly as they are presented. If any information is not included, your funds may be completely lost and are not recoverable.
4.) From here, you have the information you will need to send crypto from an exchange or personal wallet.
